We finished 2015 with a bang! This is one of the most beautiful, swankiest weddings we have ever photographed! What an amazing day! There are so many great images, it was hard to get it down to a few for this blog post, so this is one of the longest wedding posts we have ever done. Danielle and Jared are a wonderful couple and we are honored to have worked with them all year long in preparation for their big day. Danielle and her lovely bridesmaids got ready at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. Then we took the trolley to the Immaculata Church on the University of San Diego campus. After the ceremony, we were just in time for a dramatic sunset back on the beach at Hotel Del, followed by a magical evening full of surprises. Susanne Duffy of Crown Weddings and Events and her team did a fantastic job keeping all the details and elements of the day flowing seamlessly. Here are some of our favorite images from the day! We wish Danielle and Jared many years of happiness together!
Here is that amazing sunset. The sky was threatening rain too, and it ended up pouring around 8 PM. Luckily we were all inside the grand ballroom by then.Danielle looked absolutely stunning!
Jared looked so elegant in his white tie and tux.
We loved the old Hollywood vintage theme that carried throughout the reception, with It’s A Wonderful Life playing on multiple screens, old fashioned gelato, cappuccino, and old time candy with beautiful handmade labels. Feast your eyes on this incredible room! We loved the romance of golden candle light everywhere.
This little Lladró was just precious!
Every guest got to take home a unique glass Christmas ornament for their tree.
Signature drinks and signature napkins. Style and elegance all the way!
Danielle and Jared certainly know how to have fun! This is one of my favorite first dance shots ever!
When the bride was a song girl at USC, of course, you have the band come and play!
This was a champagne tree of majestic proportions! All the guests enjoyed a glass after a very skilled and careful operation.
For the cake cutting, every guest got a song sheet and EVERYONE sang That’s Amore at the top of their lungs. It was so GREAT!
What a great idea to have a professional artist capture the essence of the night in a painting. This is something Danielle and Jared will cherish forever.
This little flower girl was mesmerized by all the gelato. Such a fun idea!
To end the night, Jared surprised Danielle with their first snow. Magical!
