We love Indian, or South Asian weddings, they are so much fun to photograph! Lots of different ceremonial aspects including one at the end where the bridesmaids "kidnap" the groom's shoes and he has to pay a ransom, in cash, for them. If a groom forgets to bring cash to the ceremony, he'll walk away barefooted. At this wedding, the groom came prepared with shoe ransom money, so we did not have to be barefoot.
The actual recessional itself usually includes rose petals and other traditions. We at Barnet Photography are always ready to capture whatever happens during every aspect of the wedding, including the recessional. Just because the ceremony is over, doesn't mean that there aren't lots of special moments to photograph.
