There are a few "action" moments at a wedding that can not be re-staged; at least not with the original, genuine expressions, like the bride and groom's recessional. You never know what they'll do, the lighting may be uneven throughout the isle, especially outdoors, and you have to keep the couple well framed and in focus; all while walking backwards. Both Joe and Mirta have experience with capturing dynamic action photos. As a sports photojournalist, having worked for daily newspapers, Joe easily anticipates action during a wedding coverage. Mirta, with her extensive dance background, can also move right in step with the subjects as they interact and compliments what Joe captures.
