We value being able to spend a relaxed day out and about getting to know our Orange County and Los Angeles couples, and we feel the engagement session is a great time for us to learn how our clients express love. With years of experience as event photographers under our belts, we respect that clients are comfortable with different levels of displays of affection, and that for some, tradition and modesty can often play into how they'd like thier finished product to turn out. A nose to nose or touching foreheads shot can be a great way to convey romance when a couple may choose not to show kissing in their engagement photos.
On the flip side, for those that do love getting as close as possible, a little peek-a-boo shot through some blurred out flowers is a creative way to convey the intimacy of the romantic moment. It is as if the viewer, strolling through a park, catches a glimpse of an embracing pair, and spying it quickly moves on to give them thier privacy. We love when engagement images have a strong sense of place and story like this, and when a couple's physical chemistry can really shine through.
