We love this couple's choice of colorful shirts and rolled up jeans... the perfect attire for a romantic stroll in the sand. With the iconic pier looming large behind them, and the tide pulling away from under thier feet, this stunning backdrop is so quintessentially So Cal... it's the perfect image to showcase our city to out of town wedding guests who might check out the guest book or admire a large canvas print on the big day.
Some folks don't gravitate toward the look of a sun flair like this, but we think it's a stunning effect. Many photographic techniques and trends may have started out as mistakes, but ended up being happy accidents, and taking advantage of the sun in this way is a prime example. Though our work is always centered around the needs of our clients and the comprehensive documenting of their story, we always like to take the opportunity to get extra creative and shoot some images we know would make impressive additions to our portfolio. These might include some more out of the box techniques our clients didn't expect, but they are usually pleasantly surprised by these additions, and happy we got creative. We love that we can continue to learn and feel inspired while at the same time giving our clients the wedding coverage of their dreams!
