Environmental young boy's portrait on location
This environmental portrait of a young boy during a location family session was photographed by Barnet Photography at his grandparent's home. When we photograph large family groups we always try to do as many combinations as possible, as well as individuals alone, especially the children. This can be challenging because young kids can loose interest quickly. In this particular case, the children were great! Even the very young ones lasted until the very end and seemed to enjoy and have fun throughout the process.This portrait was made in a shady area with a shallow area of focus so the background did not compete with our subject. As in most instances, we helped the existing available light a little bit by using a silver and gold reflector.Location: Glendora, California.
