Our studio got an extra dose of cuteness the day the parents of these two superstar children brought the family in for a portrait session. We began with photographing the whole family to get these two used to being in front of the lens and to get them to see how fun it can be to pose for pictures. When children are old enough to understand and enjoy the process, this yields the best, most relaxed expressions from them.
We love how the kids were dressed in matching silver and gray tones. In fact, the whole family color coordinated and looked amazing set against the rich charcoal tone of our canvas backdrop. Having a studio session can often be more comfortable for kids because the climate is controlled, and there isn't very much to distract them from giving us a good eye line. Though we do adore how the little boy here is impishly gazing off to the side... he seems to be genuinely tickled by his big sister's embrace. This image would make a lovely addition to a holiday card, or a gorgeous large print for the home. We can also create an elegant album featuring a variety of shots from the day.
