We love it when our clients choose to have a first look! This allows the Bride and Groom to have a quiet, private moment before the exciting whirlwind of their wedding day. It gives us a great opportunity for fabulous, memorable photos. Of course, we always respect our couples’ wishes in this area, if they prefer to not see each other until the Bride walks down the isle, we support their decision. We point out the advantages of a first look when the wedding ceremony starts near sunset, in this case, we may not have sufficient light for photographs of the Bride and Groom alone after the group photos. Also, if our couple wants to be part of the coctail hour, doing their photos before the ceremony is a good idea. The last thing we want to do is rush through some of the most important images of the day because our couple needs to join their guests. The first look is always filled with laughter, love, and tears of joy, so we wanted to share some of our most memorable first looks today on the blog. Enjoy!
Of course, not all first looks are between the Bride and the Groom. One of our Brides wanted to have a first look with her father. It was a very emotion and beautiful experience for all to see the Bride walk down towards her dad as her mom looked on from the top of the stairs in the beautiful St. Regis Rotunda.
